Erika and Jacob were married on a beautiful late September afternoon. September weddings are seriously perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. The fall colors are making their appearance. The weather was perfect. Everyone I came in contact with was just as pleasant as the happy couple. Here is one of my favorite shots of them.

Writing letters to each other and reading them before the ceremony is such a special and private moment that I love capturing. A moment alone to recap their dating life and a small sentiment that brings a short trip down memory lane. Sometimes there are laughs, sometimes cries. But always a mountain of emotions and memories relived.

Here are a few of Erika and her bridesmaids finishing those details.

One of the the reasons I love wedding photography so much, is that I get to tell the story of the day. Every couple is truly so unique and I love being able to preserve the memories and help them relive their day. Erika and Jacobs ceremony was a beautiful and heart felt celebration of love and worship to God. An obvious defining factor in their relationship and now marriage. I LOVED all the details of worship songs, prayer and scripture that were added.

After the ceremony, we headed out for portraits at the park near Mystic Creek Gold Course where the reception was held. We even got to see some hot air balloons in the distance. These are a few of my favorite portraits.

A banquet hall full of happy, dance-floor-ready and party ready guests were found at Mystic Creek. From the first dance, to the last dance, it is certain that Erika and Jacob have a life ahead full of amazing friends and family. Here are some highlights from the reception.

Congratulations again. Thank you for letting me tell your wedding love story!
