Kane and Erin’s late August wedding was simply breathtaking. Their story began when they met at summer camp. This is the tower on the camp ground that holds special meaning for them. So of course it was the perfect location for their “first look.”
I’ll get further into that first look a little later. First thing is first. Getting beautified. Erin and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done at Headliners Design Studio in Jackson, MI. Here are a few photos of them getting wedding ready!
Now, onto the lovely Brick Walker Tavern. This place is up my alley so far. I could not get enough of the atmosphere of this place. From the rustic charm, the yummy natural light, to the HISTORY. There were SO many beautiful spots to photograph Kane and Erin with their wedding party.
I’ll start with Kane. Kane’s smile was so contagious. I could tell that he was so eager to see and marry his beautiful bride.
Football, beers and movie quotes. That is how I can describe this fun group of guys. Here are a few shots of these dapper fellas.
The nice thing about the Brick Walker Tavern is that it has the space to accommodate the ENTIRE wedding party. So many rooms for everyone to spread out and get ready. Erin had her mother help her with getting her gown on. It was a nice moment for them together. Erin is simply STUNNING!
When Erin decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids, I was here for this! It was truly a special moment and lots of tears were shed. She’s certainly got herself a good tribe.
This August weather was perfection. Also, can we just take a moment and admire that AMAZING bouquet.
Now onto the first look. I LOVE them. That is all!
Bridal Party Portrait time. This campground did not disappoint.
The ceremony took place at the YMCA Storer camp where Kane and Erin met. There hasn’t been a wedding ceremony at this location in over 20 years! I’m not sure why. It was absolutely beautiful. The ambiance of this place was breathtaking with the lovely sounds heard by a string quartet.
Back to the Brick Walker Tavern for their much anticipated reception. Kane’s father made a toast and mentioned that there were guests from many countries around the world in attendance. So neat to hear. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the reception followed by the beautiful “golden hour” photos.
Erin’s sister wrote and sang her a song. It was the sweetest!
