Toledo, Ohio
Cole and Anna were married prior to their special day at a private and intimate ceremony. They had a fabulous wedding reception with friends and family to celebrate a few months following. Since Anna didn’t wear her gown their ceremony, they decided that a “first look” would be fitting. I couldn’t agree more. We met at the docks in downtown Toledo to start off with the first look. I was SO happy with how these turned out. Their personalities were perfectly shown in these images.
Here are a few more of my favorite portraits from the docks.
After we got these wonderful shots at the docks we headed to Wildwood Metro Park for more portraits where the rest of the wedding party would meet. I have a special love for Wildwood. I spent a lot of time finding myself and getting lost in nature while living there. Those trails became my safe haven for jogging and clearing my head. But enough about me. I just think so much of that place. Here are some of my favorite shots from this location stop. (Take a look at Cole’s VERY old family heirloom watch. Timeless. (Pun intended).
The reception was held in Holland, Ohio at Holland Gardens Banquet Hall. The garden outside this venue was perfect for family portraits and to grab some last minute photos of Cole and Anna before they hit the dance floor. I just love this photo below of Anna with all of her sisters.
I will leave you with some of my favorite photos from their reception. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how Cole and Anna’s photos turned out. They gave me the lead to use my creative talents to capture and document their day. Their love for each other was radiating throughout the day and I think I captured the essence of that love in their gallery. Thank you so much for trusting me with your precious memories!
